Links We Love

Here are some of the links which have provided me with o much valuable information and IS STILL continuing to do so. I hope you will find the contents of these websites as informative and educational as I do and hopefully will enlighten you of any doubts and queries which you might have on berastfeeding.

kellymom.com: Breastfeeding and Parenting Message Boards

Features valuable evidence based information on breastfeeding by Dr Jack Newman, a renowned pediatrician and breastfeeding expert.

La Leche League

La Leche League was founded to give information and encouragement, mainly through personal help, to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies. While complementing the care of the physician and other health care professionals, it recognizes the unique importance of one mother helping another to perceive the needs of her child and to learn the best means of fulfilling those needs.Another one of my favorite websites for insightful information

www.hypnobirthing.com.my

A new concept to be explored in Brunei.

World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action

Brunei's very own Antenatal Class, conducted by Mrs Sally Chong, RGN, RM(London). Classes includes topics on childbirth, post natal care & breastfeeding and are conducted at JPMC

Mrs Sally Chong is a Registered Nurse (RGN) and served as a Midwife at St Mary's Hospital, London in 1992. She returned to Brunei in 2001. During her training as a midwife, Sally had the opportunity to work with the National Childbirth Trust and the Active Birth Center in the UK. Sally served as a midwife-in-charge of the OBS and Gynae Clinic in JPMC and at the same time, ran antenatal classes until 2004 when she left for Singapore.
