In the event that the milk is not flowing out of the tube, check to see if the tube has been unclamped from the slot in the yellow cap of the device. Unclamp from cap to begin milk flow. Ensure the SNS container is above the end of the tube in the baby’s mouth. Elevate the bottle above baby’s mouth for proper gravity feed. Gently shake the milk in the device. This will dissipate any coagulated fat in the milk that may be clogging the device. Remove SNS and inspect for proper assembly, pinched tubing, etc. If necessary, remove milk, disassemble, clean and reassemble.
