**This is a UK Printed version where the cover of the book features the red haired Bronwyn and her baby girl, Ruby nursing. Bronwyn had initially uploaded her picture on her Facebook account, but she was left with horrible remarks by strangers calling her unimaginable names and that she was an exhibitionist who is just seeking for some attention. She had also gotten these hurtfull remarks when nursing in public. Her Faecbook picture was soon deleted for "obscenity" A few days later, the editor of La Leche Great Britain's Breastfeeding Matters messaged Bronwyn and asked if they could use her picture and its now on the cover of the UK edition of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding.**
LA LECHE LEAGUE, INTERNATIONAL was started thirty-five years ago when seven women, committed to breastfeeding at a time when most babies were bottle fed, met in a Chicago suburb to provide information and encouragement to breastfeeding mothers. With dedication and support, it has since grown into a worldwide organization with over 3000 La Leche League groups in forty-eight countries, as medical research has affirmed, over and over, that "breast is best." An essential guidebook with an abundance of parenting information this revised 8th Edition of a classic work will teach yet another generation of mothers the wholesome way to nurture a new life.
