Before I had Guinevere, I used to sometimes see Indonesian ladies carrying their young in sarong slings and both mother and child seems to look very comfortable and happy in it.  Now their slings do not have any hooks or fasteners to keep them in place, rather its just draping it across Mom's shoulder and together with a few twist around, the sling is now ready to worn.

I suppose this wonderful aid is to ease mom while she works in the fields and tend to her young, and believe me, this is one useful contraption for us moms if ever you find yourself overwhelmed by your baby's cries or if you need to move around without having your hands tied down.
