I’ve been trying to get documented visual on the efficacy of Buds Soothing Organics First Aid Lotion on mosquito bites for some time now, and thanks to my wire netted house, we hardly get any of those blood sucking insects near us.
And yesterday, a little black and white striped mosquito had “volunteered” for the job while I was having a casual chat with Guinevere’s Nanny, Auntie Melissa. Of course by the time Auntie Melissa had swatted it, it had already made a little puncture on my daughter’s skin and within minutes, the affected area was inflamed sending Guinevere into an itching frenzy!
I had given a tube of Buds Soothing Organics First Aid Lotion to Auntie Melissa to be used on Guinevere and the rest of the kids for mosquito bites and promptly, Auntie applied a bleb of the lotion on to the inflamed area which was then the size of a 5cent. That was around 5.30pm when we left Aunty’s place. I took a picture of the initial stage of the application. (See below)

While navigating the traffic and waiting at numerous junctions, we finally got home around 6pm, in which I took another picture (See below)
A quick stroll in around the neighbourhood with Daddy and several more activities later, it was time for dinner. At 8pm I took another picture (See below) of the affected area and just like all the previous times before, the inflammation and itchiness has then subsided to a mere little red dot which will eventually go away in a couple of days.
Sometimes when I see kids or adults with aftermath mosquito bites marks, I am compelled to introduce them to this lotion. It’ll sure save them from a lot of itching and after scarring effects. Not only that this lotion is wonderful for mosquito bites, but it also can be used for minor grazes, minor burns and cuts. Hi, thanks for the lovely review of Buds Soothing First Aid Lotion on those pesky mozzie bites. I would just like to add that for burns it is important to completely cool the skin down with cold water or ice before applying the lotion.
